BIOSA Public Engagement Event

Tuesday, July 19, 2022

Modern medicine has extended our lifespans, but these additional twilight years may bring with them bone ailments such as fractures, tumours and other type of diseases. Project BIOSA, which is funded by Fusion, the R&I Programme administered by MCST, aimed to develop metal-based tailor-made bone scaffolds that degrade and allow the patient’s own bone to regrow thus eliminating the need of bone grafts that could be a potentially painful process.

A Public Engagement Event will be held at Esplora Interactive Science Centre on Tuesday 19th July, 2022. Registration starts at 1.00 pm.

If you would like to attend to this event, you are cordially invited to complete this form to reserve your seat: Places are subject to first come first served basis. Limited places available.
