To strengthen our research team, we are looking for a PostDoc (f/m/d) in Hematopoiesis and Leukemia. In this responsible role, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary competence center for pediatric oncology and to have a direct influence on the development of new cancer therapies.

Your responsibilities
  • You will lead a research project in an exciting, young, multi-disciplinary group
  • You will contribute to our research activities with your creative input
  • You will write manuscripts, present at scientific conferences, apply for fellowships and contribute to grants
  • You will supervise and support junior members of our team
Your profile

What you bring for this position:

  • PhD degree (obtained or in final stages) in the areas of hematopoiesis, leukemia, epigenetics or immunology
  • At least one first-author paper in a peer-reviewed journal
  • Proficiency in working with mouse models of leukemia, bone marrow transplantation, flow cytometry
  • Experience in genomics and basics of bioinformatics are a plus
  • Self-motivation and proactive mind-set
