Institute of Electronics and Computer Science - Postdocs

Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI) is a reserach institute in Riga, Latvia. We're looking for postdoc researchers to join our research team. The funding will be provided through PostDoc Latvia grant programme (similar to a Marie-Curie individual fellowship). We're interested in applicants within these areas:

  • Extremely precise event timing for ground and space domains;
  • Signal processing and embedded intelligence;
  • Smart sensors and IoT;
  • Remote sensing and space data processing;
  • Robotics and machine perception.

PostDoc Latvia is a grant programme for researchers within 10 years since their PhD graduation date. Successful applicants will receive a research grant of 111 505 EUR for 30 month period. The salary is capped at 2731 EUR (around two times the national average wage) with additional 800 EUR per month for other costs. The application deadline is 22 July 2020, but work on them should be started as soon as possible. EDI will assist you with writing your application.
