ESA Traineeship 2021 2nd Call

The Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST) is re-opening the call for applications for traineeship opportunities within the European Space Agency (ESA) for the last time. This year, ESA is offering two traineeship opportunities across three subject areas to Maltese Master’s degree graduates in science, engineering, and information technology-related fields:

  • Cyber Security within the IT Department, Security Section at ESA;
  • Advanced Mission Concepts Systems Engineering – Moon within the Human and Robotic Exploration Department at ESA;
  • Advanced Management Procedures & Processes within the Human and Robotic Exploration Department at ESA;

Details on the specific opportunities listed above, including eligibility criteria and sponsoring (e.g. monthly subsistence, etc), are provided within the Scheme Rules document downloadable below. Awardees are expected to commence the 1-year traineeship at the relevant ESA establishment between Quarter 2 and Quarter 3 of 2021.
