4th DestinE User eXchange

4th DestinE User eXchange event
Wednesday, June 25, 2025

The Destination Earth (DestinE) User eXchanges are aimed at research centres, universities, industry and public institutions from the science, developer and policy domains. The events also target existing and potential partners, contractors, stakeholders, European Commission members and DestinE governance bodies.

This edition will be the fourth in the series and will take place during the European Space Agency’s Living Planet Symposium (LPS25) at the same venue. Held every three years, the symposium is among the world’s leading events on Earth observation (EO).

The User eXchange will be an independent event within LPS25 and will consist of six ‘insight sessions’ over the two days, with a strong user focus. The programme agenda was designed to be both detailed and exploratory, with insights from institutions engaged in DestinE and multi-faceted interactions between participants. This way, the programme provides a foundation of knowledge as well as practical learning experiences along the way.

Poster sessions will take place across both days of the User eXchange, offering attendees the chance to connect with authors, ask questions, and network. Since the event is happening in parallel with LPS25, participants will also benefit from being immersed in a major EO gathering, with a strong presence from the Earth science academic and research community.
