Xjenza Malta is committed to building bridges between local researchers and the global scientific community. In collaboration with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), Xjenza Malta is hosting an information session to present outstanding research opportunities in Japan for Maltese and Malta-based researchers.

About JSPS

The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) is Japan’s core funding agency for academic research. Established in 1932 and now operating as an independent administrative institution under Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, JSPS supports researchers across all fields of the natural and social sciences and the humanities. Its mission includes fostering young researchers, promoting international cooperation, and advancing scientific knowledge through a wide array of programs and fellowships.

  • Detailed presentation of the JSPS Fellowship Programme, including application guidance and how to connect with researchers in Japan
  • Live Q&A with JSPS representatives
