Following our successful Beach Clean-up on 5 August 2023 jointly organised by Zibel and AquaBioTech Group, we are organising an Art Contest dedicated to children (between 14 and 18 years old), living in Malta only.
It is our absolute pleasure to invite you to the SMARTPOL Prize Ceremony to be held on 20 October 2023, related to the ART CONTEST COMPETITION.

ART CONTEST BENEFICIARIES

• Contestants (mainly families and children) would be using plastic bottles, cans and other discarded material collected from beaches on 5 August 2023.
• This event is also open for participants who could not join our Beach clean-up: you are allowed to use any plastic waste collected.
• This competition is mainly dedicated to children who have to create their ART work from the collected plastic litter and get the support from their parents to submit their ART project on 10 October 2023 | 18:00 CEST (Deadline) at latest.

The aim is to create an art sculpture/windchimes within the theme of the sea and marine life, with any discarded material such as plastic bottles, cans, etc, you can collect from beaches. Parents are more than encouraged to participate along with their children to create innovative art works and win amazing prizes.

 AWARDS

A Prize Ceremony will take place at AquaBioTech Group premises, where three (3) winners will be announced and will receive prizes. The evaluation Jury will assess the different artworks based on 3 criteria: creativity, impact, and uniqueness.
We established the connection with our partners from the Horizon Project BCTHubs in order to connect our winners with the Sea, our Underwater Cultural Heritage and the diving activities!

 1st Place: Blue Wave Water Sports – half day self-driving boat tour for the family

 2nd Place: Snorkelling Course

 3rd Place: Aquarium guided tour for the family
