At its core, RDM involves the meticulous planning, organisation, storage, preservation, sharing, and curation of data accumulated during research endeavours. It spans a wide array of practices, policies, and tools necessary for the effective and responsible management of data throughout its life cycle, from collection to documentation, and in adherence to ethical and legal standards. By employing adequate RDM practices, the UM is fostering collaboration, elevating research quality, and facilitating knowledge exchange. Through drUM, scholars can seamlessly upload and preserve their data, thus contributing to the advancement of good research data management practices. You can access drUM online.
