The 5+5 Dialogue

The Western Mediterranean Forum, commonly referred to as 5+5 Dialogue, comprises of Algeria, France, Italy, Libya, Malta, Mauritania, Morocco, Portugal, Spain and Tunisia.
 
As a Trans-Mediterranean initiative, the “raison d'être” of the Dialogue 5+5 is to ensure closer cooperation between the five EU Member States and the five Arab Maghreb Countries through political dialogue and cooperation and by encouraging more effective resource management as a means of strengthening interdependence and regional development.
 
The main objectives of the Western Mediterranean Forum for Higher Education, Research and Innovation are structured into specific activities that are divided into three main axes (Networking, Research and Innovation, Higher Education).

Malta Enterprise

Malta Enterprise is the country's economic development agency, tasked with attracting new foreign direct investment as well as facilitating the growth of existing operations.
 
Malta Enterprise acts as an adviser to the Maltese government on economic policy due to its close and constant interaction with the main economic players in the country. Malta Enterprise is also the national contact point for the Enterprise Europe Network through which companies based in Malta can develop links with counterparts in over 60 other countries.

Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology 

The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology provides vocational and professional education and training with an international dimension. MCST has six institutes, namley  the Institute of Applied Sciences, the Institute for the Creative Arts, the Institute of Engineering and Transport, the Institute of Business Management and Commerce, the Institute of Community Services, the Institute of Information and Communication Technology and the Gozo Campus.

Lebanese Development Network

The Lebanese Development Network (LDN) is a Lebanese non-profit organization “dedicated to assist individuals, communities and institutions build their capacities by conveying knowledge and improving practical performance to enable them manage the changing social requirements, catch opportunities and meet the development challenges.”
 
LDN works in the education, culture, economy, social and health fields through the various strategic levels of Capacity Building, Social Marketing and Networking Practices, and provides Consultancy, Training and Program Development services.

Valletta Design Cluster

The Valletta Design Cluster within the Valletta Cultural Agency - a legacy project of Valletta 2018, European Capital of Culture - is a community space for cultural and creative practice situated in the renovated Old Abattoir in Valletta. It focuses on design, enterpreneurship and social impact, while supporting and promoting user-centred design as a catalyst for innovation and as a multi-disciplinary approach that can create positive impacts for communities and individuals.

Valletta Cultural Agency

The Valletta Cultural Agency (VCA) sustains and strengthens the capital city's vibrant cultural life through the creation of an annual programme of creative events developed in collaboration with artists and other Public Cultural Organisations.
 
A legacy of the Valletta 2018 Foundation, the VCA also upholds standards of excellence in the coordination and organisation of cultural events in the city, while encouraging access and participation by a diverse audience.
