In the context of Plastic Free July, as part of the BlueMissionMed Support Programme, the EU-funded project BlueMissionMed (under the EU Mission "Restore our Ocean and Waters") is organising on 9 July 2025, 10:00-11:30 CEST an online hackathon to inspire, empower and support stakeholders and practitioners actively involved in awareness and education activities targeting the large public and young generations (e.g., Teachers, Educators, Science Communicators, Innovation HUBs, Foundations, Associations, Civil Society Organisations, Non-Governmental Organisations, Projects & Initiatives, etc.).

 We would like to invite you to join the event by registering in this form.

The objectives of the hackathon are: 

• To share your good practices in blue engagement and education, to inspire and get inspired by other participants. 

• To raise awareness of BlueMissionMed tools and resources, which can be openly adopted in your activities to engage and educate civil society on ocean protection and conservation. 

• To co-create with you innovative ideas on how to integrate BlueMissionMed tools and resources into your current practices.
