AuSpire Postdoctoral Fellowships


The Australia-Spain Network for Innovation and Research Excellence (AuSpire) is offering 28 Postdoctoral Fellowships to support cutting-edge research and international collaboration between Spain and Australia. Co-funded by the European Union as part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), this programme provides researchers with the opportunity to work on projects that contribute to Planetary Wellbeing while benefiting from excellent working conditions and global partnerships.

Who Can Apply?

  • Holders of a PhD degree (or those who have successfully defended their doctoral thesis but have not yet formally been awarded the degree will also be considered as postdoctoral researchers)
  • Researchers of any age, nationality, and gender
  • Those who have not lived/worked in Spain for more than 12 months in the last 3 years (unless for refugee status procedures under the Geneva Convention)
  • Applicants who demonstrate English language proficiency
  • Candidates who are not permanently employed by their chosen hosting entity
