1. How do I create a profile account on plumtri?

Click on the Log In/ Register Tab and choose whether you want to register as an individual or as an entity. Your application will be then vetted within two (2) working days (excluding weekends and local public holidays) for validation purposes and, if approved, you will be granted access to the portal's members area.

2. How do I know if my application has been successfully submitted and accepted?

You will receive a prompt message stating that your application has been submitted successfully and that it will be vetted within two (2) working days (excluding weekends and local public holidays). You will then receive a welcome e-mail that you have been granted access to the portal and that your profile has been included under the profiles online database.

3. What should I do if I forget my password or username?

If you have forgotten your username or password, please click on the ‘Forgot Username or Password?’ link under the login page and provide a valid e-mail address. A new temporary password with a link to the portal will be e-mailed to you within a few minutes. The link to change the given username or password expires within 24 hours.

4. Trouble with registering on plumtri?

If you have in the past created an account on our portal and forgotten about this and now you are re-submitting, your registration using the same email, the system will generate an error message. Please use the forgotten password as per note no. 3 above.

5. Can I have more than one profile?

No. You can only have one profile registered per email address.

6. How do I change my password?

Login to the plumtri portal and go to profiles, my profiles and change password. Type in your current password and insert your new password and click on submit.

7. How do I update and edit my profile details?

Users must be logged into plumtri to edit their personal details. To edit your personal details, go to Profiles, My Profile and edit each section of your profile and click submit.

8. How do I use the search functionality?

(Magnifying glass icon, top right corner) This function allows you to search by keyword/s across the entire portal. You can search by First Name, Last Name, Keywords, Title, Entity, Date, Main Research, Specialisation, Location and Country.

9. How long will it take before I can access my account?

The approval process will take two (2) working days (excluding weekends and public holidays).

10. How to look for a member's profile?

You can look up for a member's profile via the search profiles facility tab. The search criteria can be filtered by first name, last name, entity, location, country and/or by thematic area. A customised list of matched profiles will be generated according to the inputted criteria.

11. How do I contact a plumtri member?

Login to plumtri portal and search profiles of your interest and click on the connect button. Your request of connection will be received by the addressee for a decision whether or not to approve and share his/her contact details in return.”

12. I need help using the plumtri. Whom do I contact?

13. Is my personal data treated according to the EU GDPR law?

Yes, your data is fully respected and treated according to the EU GDPR law. Please view the privacy policy found at the bottom of each page for further details.

14. Can I showcase my project/s or events on plumtri?

Advertising can be done in the following sections; News, Events and Opportunities. We require your article in Word (.doc) format, a link (optional), contact email and an image in .jpg or .png format. You can submit your request to: plumtri.mcst@gov.mt . If approved, you article will be displayed within two (2) working days, excluding weekends and public holidays.

15. How can I access the Resources Section?

The Resources section is exclusively for registered members only. This section houses general articles in relation to specific topics, events' presentations and other general data related to R&I.

16. Can I download and make use of articles acquired from the Resources section?

Yes, as long as the article/s remains unedited and all copyrights reserved by the author are respected.

17. I am a National Contact Point (NCP) of a Project/Programme but I am not listed on plumtri platform, can I be added?

Yes, send us your contact details and project/programme information on plumtri.mcst@gov.mt and we will share your information through our platform.

18. Can I set up a Match Making Event?

Yes, If you would like to create a match making event, contact the plumtri team on plumtri.mcst@gov.mt or phone on (+356) 2360 2161 to help you to set up your event.

19. How do I delete my profile/registration?

Go to profiles/ my profiles and select delete account. This is an instant cancellation function and all data inputted through registration form will be instantly deleted. You are welcome to come back and open a new account any time.
