The Decision entering into force today was published in the Official Journal of the European Union (Decision (EU) 2024/1167), extending the partnership’s activities until 2027.

PRIMA co-chairs Angelo Riccaboni and Mohamed El-Shinawi celebrate this important milestones with a joint statement:

“PRIMA has become a crucial player in scientific research and science diplomacy in the Euro-Mediterranean region. We believe that supporting research and innovation must be one of the main pillars of the Sustainable Development Strategy in our region. It is the cornerstone of social and economic progress in developing countries.”

PRIMA is now setting its sights on the future, notably through the CSA FUTURE4PRIMA setting the preparatory steps to renew the partnership under the next framework programme.
